Backyard Wedding

Wedding Ceremony

We played for this lovely backyard ceremony and wedding dinner just a few days following severe windstorms that swept through Utah. The event was pulled off beautifully, you would not have known the damage that had been done to surrounding cities in this pristine landscape with calm weather. The bride came up to us afterward and gave us each a big hug and expressed with enthusiasm that the music was just how she pictured it and that she was so happy. Congratulations Ashley!

Brogan & Lyndi

This backyard wedding in West Point was amazing. These people know how to party! They really transformed the yard into a beautiful space. A huge white tent covered most of the yard and kept everyone shaded. The ambiance, the sweet words that were spoken during the ceremony, the food, and the entertainment ;) were perfect for a summer wedding.
The Bride and Groom requested a few special pieces in addition to our regular repertoire. We played:
Queen's  My Best Friend
Bach's  Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major
Landgrave's  Because I Have Been Given Much
Handel's  Hallelujah Chorus
And now for your viewing pleasure ... a cheesy selfie of Michelle and Cathy.

Wisteria Creek

Tonight we played at a gorgeous backyard wedding and reception at Wisteria Creek in Lehi. There were giant bunches of fragrant, pastel roses, a canopy of white lights, antique indoor decor brought outside, and old time lanterns around the expansive yard behind the mansion (which belongs to the bride; she organizes events).

We played Lullaby by Holfeldt for the wedding party processional, Pachelbel's Canon for the bride, and Bach's Brandenburg Concerto for the recessional while the bride high-fived her guests as she walked back down the aisle.

For the reception, we moved to the white gazebo, which offered great acoustics for us! We played fun dance music interspersed with classical pieces.

When our portion of the party was over, I got in my car to leave, and as I checked my mirrors, I saw a horse and carriage proceeding down the street toward me. So fitting of the romantic evening we had just enjoyed!
