It was a gorgeous night for a backyard wedding reception here in Utah! We played exclusively classical music for this vibrant colored wedding celebration in Riverton.
La Caille is a special place, an oasis of beauty surrounded by brick paths filled with vibrant colored flowering plants. The mother of the bride was so warm and friendly when we arrived, the bride told us after we finished playing that it was her mother’s most important thing to have a string quartet play for her daughters wedding and we felt honored to fulfill that dream of hers! They requested all classical music for prelude, postlude and cocktail hour. For the processionals we played Air on G String for the wedding party, Canon in D for the Bride and Jesu Joy of Man’s Desire for their recessional. A very classy elegant event. Congratulations to Lily and her groom!
We love playing for graduation ceremonies! For the last several years, we’ve provided processional music for the graduates of Argosy University. In October 2018, we performed at their last graduation. Congratulations graduates!
We provided music for a special commencement ceremony this morning. For many years the Art Institute of SLC has been hiring us to play for their graduating students, this being their last and final graduating class. Congrats to all graduates of this fine institution… thank-you for allowing us the honor and privilege of celebrating all these many years of pomp and circumstance with you!
Being from a family of violinists, this beautiful bride knew exactly what she wanted and we accommodated her every request with the famous violin solo “Lark Ascending” by Vaughan Williams for her walk down the aisle and Offenbach’s Barcarolle for the recessional. We also played Mediation from Thais and Gymnopedie by Satie prior to this lovely outdoor ceremony at La Caille Restaurant. Congratulations Sarah & Voss!
